We have different types of package sorting: some staff pack packages onto pallets, while other sorting processes involve a robot that picks up the packages from the conveyor belt and packs them onto pallets. The fact that the postal service can come pick up shipments and deliver them directly to the customer instead of going through a sorting center saves an enormous amount of time and eliminates unnecessary transport.
